Vivian Suter, *1949 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lives and works in Panajachel, Guatemala.

Vivian Suter is an Argentine-Swiss artist whose work is characterized by a deep connection to nature and an intuitive artistic process. Known for her abstract paintings, which are often large-scale and infused with vibrant colors, Suter creates a poetic depiction of landscape and atmosphere.

Her work is heavily influenced by the environments in which she lives and works. Suter spent much of her life in Guatemala and later in a remote region in the jungle of Panajachel, where she lived in close contact with nature. These experiences flow into her art and are manifested in organic shapes, flowing lines and a rich, sensual color palette.

Her works have been exhibited internationally and shown in renowned institutions such as the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
