Martin Grandits, *1982 in Vienna, lives and works in Vienna.

Martin Grandits is a versatile artist who expresses himself through sculptures, objects, painting, graphics, installations, and fashion. Renowned for his satirical approach, he integrates the aesthetics of everyday life into his works, addressing societal phenomena such as commodity fetishism, consumerism, and classicism. His pieces reflect personal themes like heartbreak, pain, and addiction, alongside art historical and pop-cultural references. Grandits’ artistic journey began with original interpretations of Nordic walking sticks during his studies, and his exploration of logos and brands continues to this day. His humorously styled sculptures contrast with expressive paintings that serve not only as personal processing but also aim to evoke emotions in viewers. His artistic concepts range from quirky designs for public spaces to large-scale memorials with profound social relevance.
