Maria Moser *1948 in Upper Austria, Austria. Lives and works in Upper Austria.

Moser primarily focuses on painting now, but she previously experimented with sculptures using iron, steel, wood and stone. She studied at the of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1968 to 1973. Her artistic expressions span large-scale oil paintings on canvas, as well as works on paper and prints. She often incorporates elements from her father’s forge into her abstract works, such as tinder, molten metal, anvils, and bending and breaking forms. Additionally, she draws inspiration from her travels, nature, and visits to junkyards. Among her accomplishments, she crafted the stained-glass windows for the churches in Grieskirchen and Schwanenstadt and also designed the interior of the church of St. Konrad in Linz-Froschberg.
