Benjamin Hirte, *1980 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. Currently based in Vienna.

Hirte is a contemporary artist known for his innovative approach across sculpture, installation, drawing, and painting. His work often incorporates unconventional materials and techniques, inviting viewers to engage with complex narratives hidden within his compositions. In his drawings, Hirte often utilizes small, freely drawn pencil scribbles that form words and patterns. At first glance, these elements might appear incoherent, but upon closer inspection, they reveal subtle, underlying narratives. These scribbled words and line-based compositions resemble handwriting, adding a personal and intimate dimension to his paintings. Hirte’s work has gained international recognition, with his pieces being showcased in galleries, museums, and art institutions around the world.
