Whether realizing performative interventions in public spaces, activating architectural facades, or creating complex installations—Giannotti’s works invite immediate participation and challenge collective mindsets. With subtle wit and minimalist precision, he uses the medium to visualize the invisible rules of space, power, and institutions. His conceptual approach has been showcased internationally at renowned institutions including the Albertina Vienna, MAMbo Bologna, Kunsthaus Graz, and Bank Austria Kunstforum.

Aldo Giannotti, born 1977 in Genoa, studied at the academies of fine arts in Carrara, London, and Munich, and has lived and worked in Vienna since 2000.
